University of Toronto Industrial Engineering Class of 6T7

35th Reunion - June 7-9, 2002

Another year, more pot bellies and less hair. As we fade into irrelevance, the gallant members of IE6T7 are definitely NOT getting any prettier! We came together to swap stories, lie a little, drink too much and have a good time. We suceeded. The saga continues ...

The Traditional Golf Match
It was business as usual, starting with the golf match. Bagel was up to his old tricks, entertaining and impressing the crew with a show of his virility (?)

Added to the group this year were Madott, Furst and Lynch (after a multi-year absence from the golf scene). In recognition of the significance of the 35 years (and to make sure Guppy wasn't cut off), we permitted a foursome of the fairer sex. Fortunately none of the girls won any of the prizes.

The low gross went to Stephens (big surprise), the low net to Baldwin with a 59 (claims it was a career game -- he'll never get another stroke). The long ball went to Pullam (you da man!), and close to the hole to Kingsbrew who claimed the prize with a magnificent 12 inches.

Following the athletics, the gang retired to Sergeant Pepper's to partake of large quantities of food and drink. Swine forgot the trophy so it had to be handed out the next night.

The Class Dinner
Several years ago we realized that the official Engineering Reunion dinner left a little something to be desired (it was kinda boring), so now we do our own. In case someone wants to represent us at the big show (this time it was Hunt), we schedule ours for Saturday.

Fenwick conned Jeffrey into hosting the lads in his backyard again (kind of a pre-game warm up), and then we stumbled on to Fenwick's old haunt, La Maison Benoit.

Swine actually remembered the trophy so he awarded it to Baldwin amidst the jeers of the more accomplished golfers in the group. Best story of the night goes to Jaan Krabi who is the proud owner of a gay bull.

Ron on displayThe Pool Party
The final event of the weekend was Pullam's pool party. After much abuse, Lynch was convinced NOT to wear his Speedo, so none of the boys had to face such stiff competition.

The weather was awesome, the pool delightful but the boys are definitely showing a lot of wear and tear. Gone are the days of hard drinking and carousing, now replaced by a lot more soft drinks and questionable stories.

And remember, next year it will only get worse!
