We started with 5 golfers this year, but both Bailey and Adare had to drop out for health issues. Both are expected back next year though. Our group just consisted of Allen, Bailey and Pullam.
Since last year we've lost three regulars--Baldwin, Lynch and Stephens, so it's no wonder our numbers are down. We're hoping that next year will bring a few more of the gang because it's a 5-year event, and some out-of-towners are possible. We've decided that next year will be our last annual golf event—maybe the prestige of owning the trophy in perpetuity will bring out the best in our athletes?
The quality of golf continued to fade this year. Pullam won handily with a net 77 as both Allen and Bailey choked on the back 9.
