Saturday evening was the formal part of the 50th anniversary reunion program. We went downtown to the Hyatt Regency where there were pin presentations, followed by the dinner.
These are shots of Dean Christina Amon presenting the 50 year pin to each of our classmates in attendance.

We only filled two tables at the Engineering Dinner. Certainly nothing like the attendance at our class dinner, but we were still the best represented class at the event. These are shots of the tables, the band, and the LGMB getting ready for its arrival.

And then the LGMB and the cannon arrived ...
The LGMB marched in and took up a position at the back of the room. This foiled my attempt to be camera-ready with a front row seat by the dance floor.
The Brute Force Committee (if they still call it that) has certainly changed in 50 years! From grim faced guards decked out in traditional blue Engineering jackets with the coveted BFC patch to nubile females flaunting their physiques. I wonder what might happen if someone tried to steal the cannon in 2017?
