June 2, 2012 - The Class Dinner at Quince Bistro

We hit a new high in restaurant selection this year. We gotta give credit to Jim Fenwick for picking the place and then heading to Florida for the rest of the winter. We benefited from Jim's taste and handed the negotiations off to that smooth talking Jim Allen. As usual, Les Segal was our master of ceremonies, regaling the audience with his incredible memory of our skule days. Most of us are struggling to remember each other's names ... how does Les remember so much? Maybe he's making it up? Who would know?

For the third year, Les awarded the coveted Ted Swain Lifetime Achievement Award at the dinner. Doug Stephens was recognized as the winner for his contributions to the betterment of mankind. (Or should it be humankind?)

Doug gave his acceptance speech and followed up with a motivating talk showing the form that made him a legend in municipal politics with his musings about life, the class, his family, likes, dislikes, zippers, etc.

The first 2 images below are YouTube videos taken by Ado that'll let you experience it all in the privacy of your own home. You can expand them to full screen by clicking on the little box in the lower right hand corner.
