University of Toronto Industrial Engineering Class of 6T7

June 1, 2007 - Remington Parkview Golf & Country Club

This year's contest was held at the unforgettable Remington Parkview Golf & Country Club. Funny how in 2005 we thought it was a dump and swore we wouldn't return, but this year we liked it so much that we just might make it the permanent home of the annual IE6T7 golf event. The fairways were lusher, the greens truer, but the scores weren't any better.

The winners ...

  • Low net - Pullam with a hard fought 68
  • Low gross - Lynch with a sizzling 85
  • Closest to the hole - Swain with an unimpressive 10 footer
  • Longest drive - Sharon Pullam with a dazzling 200 yarder that split the fairway and left Lynch's ball in the dust.

Swain almost came in with an upset as he tied for second low net. If it hadn't been for that "9" on the 5th ...

Fraser blamed work pressure for skipping the round, so his record of most honest golfer was up for grabs and was taken by Grant McNabb. Grant will have to come back next year and have a head-to-head challenge match with Fraz to see who will be the most honest guy in the class.

This year Madott dropped out of the "honesty" competition and showed us a little of his game. Pretty soon he'll be in there challenging for low net.
