University of Toronto Industrial Engineering Class of 6T7

Myrtle Beach 2000 better than the 1999 version!

More golfers, better weather, and more stories. It looks like a new IE6T7 tradition on its way. No hurricanes this year, just reasonable weather. It was a bit below seasonal norms but the days reached highs of 65 to 75, so the golf was excellent (well, the golf weather was excellent)

Bagel, Fenwick and Pullam gambled their fortunes away every day, and the toonie kept changing hands. It started with Bagel getting 4½ strokes (sandbagger), then just 3, then 2 for Fenwick, and on the last day it was even. The overall result? Bagel up $2.00 due to shrewd negotiating (certainly not good golf). The ladies kept the boys' egos in check (this was a fully co-ed event), played a little golf, and took on pivotal roles in some enjoyable après-golf activities!

The tale of the unexpected classmate??? While sitting at the breakfast table at the Sands Club on Day 4, we noticed a faintly familiar face at the next table. His head was a little shiny, he was carrying a few extra pounds, and he said "I don't know those guys". But he was wrong! Gary Reed, you can run, but you can't hide. We found him and added him to the roster. Small world.

Great non-golf activities included visiting Marten's (love that golf store), eating and drinking (pics below from Dick's, Nance's and Carrabba's), wandering around in the great outdoors, and other things that we are not allowed to mention.
